I know what I mean when I give a grade, send an email, or construct a rubric, but do my students and parents know what I mean? Communicating with stakeholders, including parents and students, is one of the most important jobs we have as educators. Using technology to help us communicate can help us give consistent, well-timed feedback, promote accessibility to our classroom during off-hours, and allow us the ease that technology can provide while giving precise feedback to individual students.
