  • Katie Hill - “Creating a Coaching Culture that Builds Capacity for Best Instructional Practices with Technology” This UTedchat will focus on what coaches have learned about coaching, supporting professional learning to meaningfully support growth in teachers that centers on creating the strongest learning environment for students. Coaching work across the state has led to sustaining professional learning that honors what we know adult learners need to take that learning and put it into practice. Discussion will center on how coaches can help build a learning culture that values innovation, allows for growth through taking instructional risks, and gives educators a partner to reflect on practice and use the data they get from students to engage in high-quality instructional decision making with technology and strategies.
  • Hulya Kablan - “Make Coaching Visible” Connecthub is a one shop tool for instructional coaches or Ed Tech coaches to document, share, and explore their coaching. It also helps coaches to create powerful data to find educator support trends, measure their impact, reflect on their coaching to improve and remember follow up tasks.
  • Kirsten Butcher - “Lessons from the COVID Trenches: Real World Lessons for Instructional Videos” Designing and recording instructional videos is a skilled instructional activity. But creating instructional videos that can be reused and repurposed is a glorious art. This talk will provide you with hard-won knowledge from the COVID quarantine trenches.
